A full‑colour A4 book spanning 142 pages, created to showcase 100 carefully selected objects from the UK Scout Heritage Collection. The publication brings together archival artefacts, uniforms, badges, documents, tools and wider paraphernalia associated with the movement, presenting them in a way that feels both celebratory and accessible.
Working closely with curators and content specialists, I developed a layout system that balanced high‑quality photography, clear hierarchy, and engaging storytelling. Each spread was crafted to highlight the unique character and history of the objects, pairing detailed captions with a clean, modern design language that supports readability without overwhelming the content.
The book was conceived not just as a catalogue, but as a visual journey through the evolution of Scouting, capturing its traditions, innovations and cultural impact. Careful attention was given to typography, colour, pacing and narrative flow, ensuring the publication felt cohesive from cover to cover. The result is a polished, museum‑quality piece that honours the organisation’s heritage while making it inviting for contemporary audiences.
